We are pleased to announce that we have purchased 4 new Mini Cranes which will enable us to provide versatile and cost effective solutions to our client’s requirements.
The ability to access small sites, pass through doorways and utilise cargo lifts mean we can place a heavy lifting capability in to some of the most confined locations eliminating the risks associated with repetitive manual handling tasks.
Our machines are available with skilled Operators and Slinger banksmen. We will also offer a Contract Lift service as well. A free site survey is also available if required.
Our mini cranes have low overall operating weight, compact dimensions, low headroom, and have lifting capacities between 1 and 8 tonnes.
URW-095: At only 600mm wide this model will fit through a standard size doorway, or garden gate. With its dual power source facility it can be easily switch to work inside or out. With it caterpillar tracks low ground pressure lifting is achieved making it ideal to work in confined areas with restricted access or just as easily set-up and operated on uneven surfaces.
It has a 8.65 metre boom that can operated using remote control and a maximum lift of 1 ton. Being extremely light at under two tonnes it can be lifted and used as a support crane to the main site crane on different floors of buildings or on its own to support on site workers. Coming on its own trailer small one off site lifts are not a problem and one day hire can be arranged along with experienced site personnel to ensure a quick and safe lift.
URW-295: This model will also fit through a doorway, can lift a maximum of 3 ton, has a maximum rope fall of 48metres which allows for lowering down holes or over edges of great height.
It can be operated by remote control, and in confined spaces with limited headroom. It can be manoeuvred through tight spaces, and up and down steep gradients. Operated using petrol or gas means that it operates inside as well as outside in all conditions. With an audible warning voice, to alert persons of operation this is the most popular choice and is Europe’s most used mini crane.
URW-376: At 4.35m width this crane will fit through a standard double door. Its greater lift capacity than the 295 mini crane means that it can lift up to 3 tonnes and can be operated by remote control.
Its has an increased 14.6m of boom which allows it to reach over greater distances and covers a larger working area. Mainly used on ground floor level work to erect structural steel, lift statues and monuments, glass and exhibition standing. As with all our cranes it can also operate on uneven ground. We can also provide special low-marking tracks when working inside on a finished floor.
URW-506: This mini crane can lift a massive 3 ton and can work over a max radius of 15metres.This model also can be operated by remote control and can lift objects up and over 15metres high. Larger than the 376 and it can hold 400 kilos at a distance of 13metres.
In extreme tight working conditions or where access is a problem the 506 can be dismantled and then taken in pieces to its work location Ie up in a lift. It can then be reassembled to give you maximum lift and boom length in places where no larger crane can gain access. With a net weight of under 5 tonnes this is the most flexible power to weight ratio crane on the hire market.
URW-706: The largest of the mini-cranes, before we get to the truck mounted cranes. This monster can lift 6 tonnes at over 3 metres and has an advantage of a stowable fly jib, for hard to reach areas where boom length is key.
It has a massive hook height of 22.7m max however it will still fit through a standard double door at only 1600mm wide. It can work at nearly 19metres away from work area and is ideal for heavy loads over a large working area.
Available throughout the UK, mini cranes can be dispatched quickly via truck usually within 24hrs subject to availability. Long term crane hire rates are also available on extended rental periods. Mini cranes undertake a variety of specialist lifting applications and can access confined sites and locations where larger cranes and machinery would not be suitable for carrying out lifts.
